The Medical Doctor will provide comprehensive patient care, including conducting histories and physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and managing acute and chronic conditions. Responsibilities include coordinating care with interdisciplinary team members, maintaining clear and timely documentation in the medical record, and ensuring continuity of care across settings. The role involves patient education, shared decision-making, and proactive preventive care to support long-term health outcomes. The Medical Doctor is expected to participate in quality improvement activities, uphold clinical and safety standards, and contribute to a collaborative, compassionate practice environment.Qualifications Current MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited residency program.Active, unrestricted medical license (or eligibility) in Massachusetts; board certification or board eligibility in a relevant specialty (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine).Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills, with experience managing both acute issues and chronic diseases in an outpatient setting.Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with patients, families, and care teams, with clear, empathetic communication skills.Proficiency with electronic health records and comfort using modern digital tools to support coordinated, data-informed care.Commitment to continuity of care, community-based practice, and collaborative teamwork aligned with Bookmark Medical’s values.Experience participating in quality improvement, population health initiatives, or value-based care programs is beneficial.CPR/BLS certification and other relevant clinical certifications as required by practice standards.
