The group values collaboration, integrity, and a patient-centered approach in all aspects of care delivery.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Medical Doctor role based in Pensacola, FL. The physician will provide attending services for residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities, including performing comprehensive histories and physicals, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and managing acute and chronic medical conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include rounding on patients, updating care plans, coordinating with nursing staff and interdisciplinary teams, and communicating with patients and families about diagnoses, treatments, and goals of care. The role may involve medical directorship duties such as participating in quality improvement initiatives, reviewing clinical protocols, and supporting regulatory compliance. The physician is expected to maintain accurate documentation, adhere to evidence-based guidelines, and contribute to a culture of safety, respect, and continuous improvement.Qualifications Current MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and completion of an accredited residency program (e.g., Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Geriatrics).Active, unrestricted Florida medical license (or eligibility to obtain), DEA registration, and board certification or board eligibility in a relevant specialty.Clinical expertise in managing complex, chronic conditions in older adults or post-acute care settings; familiarity with Skilled Nursing Facility protocols and regulations is preferred.Strong patient assessment and diagnostic skills, including history-taking, physical examination, and interpretation of laboratory and imaging results.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with nursing staff, therapists, administrators, patients, and families.Ability to work on-site in Pensacola, FL, manage a consistent patient panel, and provide reliable, timely follow-up care.Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines and regulatory requirements.Experience or interest in medical leadership, such as serving as a medical director, participating in care coordination, and supporting facility performance metrics is a plus.Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer skills for documentation, order entry, and communication.
