Your dedication will directly impact patient recovery, satisfaction, and overall quality of care.What You'll DoProvide comprehensive inpatient medical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses across specialties such as cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, and moreConduct thorough patient assessments through physical examinations, medical history reviews, and diagnostic evaluations using tools like medical imaging and lab resultsCollaborate effectively with healthcare professionals — including specialists in anesthesiology, emergency medicine, surgery, Ob/Gyn, pediatrics, and psychiatry — to develop integrated care plansUtilize EMR/EHR systems such as Epic to accurately document patient encounters, update records promptly, and ensure HIPAA complianceCoordinate discharge planning and post-acute care to facilitate smooth patient transitions home or to specialized facilitiesParticipate in clinical research initiatives and quality improvement projects that advance hospital medicine practicesRespond swiftly to urgent situations, such as airway management or acute pain episodes, while maintaining high standards of safety and infection controlWhat You'll BringPost-residency experience in hospital medicine or internal medicine required; prior inpatient hospital experience highly preferredDemonstrated proficiency with EMR systems like Epic or similar platforms for documentation and order entryHands-on experience managing patients in Level I or Level II trauma centers or ICU settings is a plusKnowledge of diagnostic radiology techniques, including CT scans and other imaging modalitiesFamiliarity with procedures such as suturing, IV infusion administration, BLS, and wound careExperience collaborating across specialties such as cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, rheumatology, infectious disease, or palliative medicineStrong grasp of medical terminology, physiology, and clinical research methodology to support effective patient assessment and treatment planningWhy Join UsMake a meaningful difference in patients' lives through energetic leadership in hospital medicine.
