Be Well Primary Care serves patients 16 years and older and is explicitly committed to non-discrimination and inclusive care for all.Role Description The Medical Doctor at Be Well Primary Care will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients aged 16 and above, including preventive care, diagnosis, treatment, and chronic disease management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient consultations, reviewing medical histories, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing individualized care plans with a focus on lifestyle and weight management. The physician will collaborate closely with clinic staff and external specialists, provide patient education, maintain accurate and timely documentation, and uphold quality and safety standards. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Fort Worth, TX, requiring consistent presence in the clinic to support continuity of care and relationship-building with patients.Qualifications Valid MD or DO degree from an accredited institution and completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or related primary care specialty.Current, unrestricted Texas medical license (or eligibility to obtain), DEA registration, and board certification or board eligibility in a primary care discipline.Clinical expertise in preventive medicine, chronic disease management (e.g., diabetes, hypertension), and weight management, with the ability to create holistic, lifestyle-focused care plans.Strong diagnostic, clinical decision-making, and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in interpreting labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build long-term patient relationships, provide clear education, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.Commitment to non-discriminatory, inclusive care for diverse patient populations and alignment with the clinic’s values of compassion, care, and excellence.Comfort with using electronic health records (EHR) and basic digital tools for documentation, ordering, and care coordination.Willingness to work full time on-site in Fort Worth, TX, with reliability, professionalism, and a patient-first approach in daily practice.
