Medical Engineer (Support/FSE Hybrid)

Remote Support/FSE Role - Medical Devices ManufacturerWe are seeking an experienced Medical Device Engineer for a global leading manufacturer of test and analytical systems for the clinical and pharmaceutical industries. This role will be a hybrid position providing remote support from home 75% of the time and travelling to customer sites in the Madrid and surrounding regions 25% of the time. Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide technical support for end‑user systems, including operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, performing alignments, and resolving technical issues.Onsite and remote troubleshooting, installation, maintenance, calibration and repairs on medical equipmentServe as an escalation point and resource for Level I specialists by diagnosing issues that require deeper technical expertise and broader product knowledge.Troubleshooting not only on a mechanical/electrical level but understand and troubleshoot on an application level.Working as a member of a larger team but independently managing their territory to provide efficient service support to all customers within an assigned area.Essential ExperienceThree years’ work experience in the medical device or life sciences industries is preferred.Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy-to-understand manner.Desirable ExperienceBachelor’s degree in either Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering TechnologyAbility to travel and stay overnight occassionally (pre-planned) KEYWORDS: MEDICAL DEVICE, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, MEDICAL ENGINEERING, BIOMEDICAL, LIFE SCIENCES
