Support the health and readiness of service members in both operational and non-operational settings.Potential Locations:VirginiaCaliforniaMarylandWashingtonFloridaJapanGuam...and more!Minimum Qualifications:Baccalaureate or Master of Science degree from an accredited college or university in medical technology (MT), clinical laboratory science (CLS), medical laboratory science (MLS), or natural scienceGPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale, including a 3.0 GPA in core MT/MLS/CLS science courseworkCertificate of completion for a one-year course of study in medical technology, medical laboratory science, or clinical laboratory science from a program accredited by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences (NAACLS)Successful completion of a national Medical Technology or Medical Laboratory Scientist professional certification examination administered by the American Society of Clinical PathologistsThree years of clinical laboratory experience within the most recent six-year period (research and veterinary laboratory experience excluded)U.S. CitizenshipBetween the ages of 21 and 64 (Title 10 U.S. Code section 531 and 532)Note: The NAACLS program completion requirement may be waived for applicants with at least four years of documented clinical laboratory training and experience. GPA waivers may be granted on a case-by-case basis for exceptional candidates with significant work experience or currently underrepresented skills.
