Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)· 1–3 years of experience in a diagnostic laboratory or multispecialty hospital· Knowledge of laboratory quality standards, infection control, and NABH protocolsJob SummaryThe Lab Technician is responsible for performing routine diagnostic tests, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results, maintaining laboratory equipment, and adhering to quality, safety, and NABH standards to support effective patient care.Key Responsibilities· Collect, process, and analyse patient samples as per standard laboratory procedures.· Perform haematology, biochemistry, microbiology, and other routine laboratory investigations.· Ensure proper labelling, handling, and storage of specimens.· Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.· Maintain quality control procedures and ensure accuracy of test results.· Follow infection control, biomedical waste management, and laboratory safety protocols.· Maintain laboratory records, documentation, and inventory of reagents and consumables.· Coordinate with doctors and nursing staff for timely reporting of critical test results.· Ensure compliance with hospital policies and NABH guidelines.Key Skills· Clinical Laboratory Testing· Sample Collection & Processing· Laboratory Equipment Handling· Quality Control & Documentation· Infection Control & NABH Compliance· Attention to Detail· Communication & Teamwork
