Founded by experienced medical educators, we combine technology-driven learning with structured academic instruction to deliver high-quality, exam-focused preparation programs.About the RolePromet Prep is seeking an experienced and English-fluent Lab Technician Tutor to develop and deliver high-quality examination preparation programs for Lab Technician pursuing professional licensure in the GCC region.The role covers preparation for the DHA (Dubai), DOH/HAAD (Abu Dhabi), MOH UAE, Saudi Prometric/SCFHS, Qatar Prometric, and Oman Prometric/OMSB licensing examinations.The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical knowledge, relevant teaching or training experience, excellent English communication skills, and the ability to simplify complex laboratory concepts into clear, structured, and exam-oriented learning content.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and deliver effectively deliver the academic curriculum and training modules for laboratory technician licensing examination preparation.Identify high-yield topics based on the requirements of relevant GCC medical laboratory licensing examinations.Record structured, topic-wise lectures covering key laboratory subjects and exam-oriented concepts.Deliver clear, exam-focused training, including bilingual explanations where required.Cover relevant subjects such as clinical biochemistry, haematology, microbiology, immunology, histopathology, blood banking, laboratory safety, and quality control, depending on the target examination syllabus.Develop practice questions, multiple-choice questions (MCQs), case-based questions, and mock assessments with detailed explanations.Support the development of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) programmes, where applicable.Participate in educational videos, podcasts, webinars, and laboratory awareness sessions to support marketing and brand development through recorded educational content.Contribute to laboratory education initiatives and faculty-led digital learning resources.Collaborate with the academic team to develop, review, and update structured learning materials aligned with relevant licensing examination requirements.Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of recorded lectures and academic content.Key RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT/B.Sc. MLT, M.Sc. MLT) or an equivalent recognised qualification relevant to the target role. A specialised postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.Valid professional registration or laboratory professional licence, where applicable in the relevant jurisdiction.Relevant clinical laboratory experience and/or experience in teaching, academic training, or laboratory licensing examination preparation.Strong knowledge of core medical laboratory subjects, laboratory procedures, diagnostic techniques, quality control, biosafety, and evidence-based laboratory practices.Familiarity with GCC medical laboratory licensing examinations, including DHA, DOH Abu Dhabi, MOHAP UAE, SCFHS/Saudi licensing examinations, Qatar DHP, and the relevant licensing requirements in Oman, Bahrain, or Kuwait.Excellent English proficiency, with the ability to explain complex laboratory concepts clearly and effectively.Strong presentation and communication skills, with confidence in delivering recorded lectures on camera.Ability to develop structured academic content, PowerPoint presentations, workbooks, MCQs, and case-based learning materials.Willingness to work on a contract basis and meet agreed academic deliverables and recording schedules.
