The team leverages modern technologies and evidence-based practices to ensure high-quality diagnostic services. geneticlab UAE is committed to innovation, reliability, and continuous improvement in laboratory medicine to meet the growing demand for precision diagnostics.Role Description The Medical Laboratory Technologist will perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests, including NGS-related assays, in accordance with established protocols and quality standards. Responsibilities include preparing and processing specimens, operating and maintaining laboratory instruments, recording and analyzing test results, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting. The role involves adhering to safety and infection control procedures, participating in quality control and quality assurance activities, and collaborating with medical and scientific staff to support accurate diagnoses. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Sharjah, requiring consistent presence in the laboratory and flexibility to work within scheduled shifts.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Medical Technology and Laboratory Skills relevant to diagnostic and NGS testing.Candidates should demonstrate knowledge of Laboratory Medicine and practical experience in clinical laboratory workflows.Candidates should have proven experience in Quality Control, quality assurance, and compliance with laboratory regulations.Candidates should have a solid understanding of Medicine as it relates to interpreting and correlating laboratory results with clinical information.Relevant bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, Biomedical Science, or a related field; professional certification or licensure in the UAE is preferred.Experience with molecular diagnostics, NGS platforms, and data handling is an advantage.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to follow standard operating procedures accurately.Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
