Medical Laboratory Technologist – Stem Cell Processing & Cell Culture

About the RoleFuture Health GCC is seeking an experienced Medical Laboratory Technologist with strong hands-on experience in stem cell processing and cell culture to join our laboratory team in Dubai.This position is specifically suited to candidates with practical experience in cell culture, blood banking, cord blood processing, tissue processing, cryopreservation, and aseptic laboratory techniques.The successful candidate will be expected to work within a regulated laboratory environment while maintaining high standards of quality, documentation, traceability, and technical performance.Key Responsibilities

• Perform cell culture and related laboratory procedures in accordance with approved SOPs.
• Perform cord blood processing, blood banking, and associated laboratory activities.
• Support stem cell and tissue processing, including sample preparation, processing, cryopreservation, storage, and handling.
• Perform laboratory procedures using appropriate aseptic techniques.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain laboratory equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Ensure accurate documentation, sample identification, traceability, and record keeping.
• Follow laboratory quality management systems, safety procedures, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Participate in quality control, equipment qualification, validation activities, and laboratory audits as required.
• Identify, document, and report deviations, non-conformities, and laboratory incidents in accordance with approved procedures.
• Maintain high standards of laboratory cleanliness, organization, safety, and compliance.Qualifications and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Biomedical Science, Biotechnology, or another relevant laboratory science discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant laboratory experience.
• Valid DHA professional license or DHA eligibility is required.
• Strong hands-on experience in cell culture is required.
• Experience in stem cell processing is highly preferred.
• Experience in blood banking and/or cord blood processing is highly preferred.
• Experience in tissue processing, cryopreservation, and aseptic processing is an advantage.
• Good understanding of laboratory quality systems, SOPs, documentation, traceability, and Good Documentation Practices.
• Previous experience working within a regulated healthcare, blood banking, biotechnology, stem cell, or cell-processing laboratory environment is preferred.Key Skills
