This role involves providing direct patient care, including clinical assessment, diagnosis, and management of medical conditions in accordance with hospital protocols and evidence-based practice. The Medical Officer will conduct ward rounds, review investigation results, prescribe treatment, and coordinate care with consultants and other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include documenting patient records accurately, participating in emergency coverage, and supporting preventive and follow-up care. The Medical Officer will also contribute to clinical audits, departmental meetings, and training activities to maintain quality standards and continuous improvement.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine, with sound clinical judgment and up-to-date knowledge of medical guidelines.Demonstrated Patient Care skills, including comprehensive history-taking, examination, and compassionate communication.Experience in Surgery or assisting in surgical procedures, with adherence to safety and infection control protocols.Ability to work effectively with Physicians and other healthcare professionals in a collaborative, multidisciplinary setting.Experience in Training junior staff or medical trainees, and willingness to participate in ongoing clinical education.Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) and valid registration with the relevant medical council.Previous hospital or clinical experience, preferably in acute care or general medicine settings.Strong ethical standards, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts.Proficiency in medical documentation and basic use of hospital information systems.
