The company values continuous learning, professional development, and a safe, supportive work environment.Role Description The Medical Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Karnataka, India, responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to employees and supporting workplace health initiatives. Day-to-day activities include conducting medical examinations, diagnosing and managing common occupational and general health conditions, and providing first aid and emergency care as needed. The role involves overseeing preventive health programs, maintaining medical records, coordinating health screenings, and ensuring compliance with relevant health and safety regulations. The Medical Officer will collaborate with management and external healthcare providers to support wellness campaigns, health education sessions, and training on safety and hygiene practices. The position also requires participation in incident response, advising on workplace health risks, and promoting a culture of well-being across the site.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine, with relevant clinical experience and knowledge of occupational health practices.Demonstrated skills in Patient Care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up in a workplace or clinical setting.Experience in Training, particularly in health education, first aid, and safety-related topics for diverse employee groups.Exposure to Surgery or emergency procedures, with the ability to provide timely first-line intervention and coordinate advanced care when required.Ability to work effectively with Physicians and other healthcare professionals, fostering collaborative and multidisciplinary care.Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution; valid registration with the appropriate medical council.Knowledge of occupational health regulations and industrial safety standards in India is highly beneficial.Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage respectfully with employees at all levels.Commitment to ethical medical practice, confidentiality, and a non-discriminatory approach to patient care.
