Company Description Symbiosis Centre of Health Care (SCHC) is the in-house health care center serving the entire Symbiosis community, including students and employees. SCHC focuses on preventive, promotive, and curative health services to support overall well-being. The center provides accessible, continuous care to individuals under the Symbiosis banner. With an emphasis on holistic health, SCHC aims to create a safe, healthy campus environment and improve quality of life for all members of the Symbiosis family.Role Description The Medical Officer will provide comprehensive clinical care, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up for students and staff at SCHC. Daily responsibilities include conducting outpatient consultations, managing minor emergencies, prescribing medications, and maintaining accurate medical records. The Medical Officer will collaborate with other health professionals, coordinate referrals when needed, and support health promotion and preventive care initiatives such as screenings and awareness programs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division, requiring regular presence at the health care center and active participation in campus health activities.Qualifications Strong foundation in Medicine and clinical decision-making, with the ability to manage common acute and chronic conditions.Demonstrated skills in Patient Care, including empathetic communication, thorough assessment, and follow-up management.Experience in Surgery or minor clinical procedures relevant to a primary care setting is an advantage.Ability to work effectively with Physicians and other health professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.Competence in Training and educating students and staff on health, hygiene, and preventive care practices.Recognized medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from an accredited institution; valid medical registration/license.Previous experience in campus health, community health, or hospital/clinic settings is preferred.Strong organizational skills, reliability, and ability to respond to medical needs in a timely manner.
