The role involves assisting senior surgeons and consultants in managing CTVS inpatients and outpatients, coordinating diagnostic investigations, and ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards. The Medical Officer will participate in ward rounds, manage emergency cases under supervision, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and maintain accurate medical records and discharge summaries. The role may also include involvement in clinical audits, case presentations, and teaching activities with students or trainees. This is a full-time, on-site role based at Pacific Medical College and Hospital in Udaipur.Qualifications Candidates should possess a recognized MBBS degree from an accredited institution and valid registration with the appropriate medical council.Relevant clinical experience in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, critical care, or related surgical specialties is strongly preferred.Strong skills in patient assessment, clinical decision-making, and management of post-operative care, including familiarity with ICU and step-down unit protocols.Ability to collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary environment.Competence in maintaining detailed medical records, preparing discharge summaries, and adhering to hospital policies and clinical guidelines.Good communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and colleagues, with a focus on empathy, clarity, and professionalism.Commitment to ethical medical practice, continuous learning, participation in clinical audits, and engagement with academic activities.Willingness to work in rotational shifts, manage emergency situations under supervision, and adapt to the demands of a high-acuity surgical department.
