Residents will provide direct patient care under supervision, including admitting patients, taking histories, performing physical examinations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and assisting with treatment plans. Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in ward rounds, outpatient clinics, emergency care, and procedures, while collaborating closely with attending physicians and multidisciplinary teams. Residents are expected to document clinical encounters accurately, follow hospital protocols, contribute to quality improvement activities, and maintain high standards of safety and ethics. The role also involves ongoing learning through case discussions, academic sessions, and staying current with medical guidelines and research.Qualifications Strong foundation in core Medicine and clinical decision-making, with the ability to manage common inpatient and outpatient conditions.Exposure to Cardiology and related acute care skills, including basic interpretation of ECGs and cardiac investigations.Basic surgical skills and comfort assisting in Surgery, minor procedures, and pre- and post-operative patient management.Demonstrated ability in Working with Physicians and multidisciplinary teams, including clear communication and collaborative care.Competence in Treatment planning and execution, including prescribing, monitoring response, and adjusting therapies under supervision.MBBS degree from a recognized institution; relevant registration with the appropriate medical council.Strong clinical documentation skills, attention to detail, and adherence to hospital protocols and ethical standards.Commitment to continuous learning, resilience in a high-paced clinical environment, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and nights as required.
