The Medical Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving NCH’s healthcare and nutraceutical business by building trusted partnerships with healthcare professionals and ensuring effective product positioning within assigned territories. The role combines scientific knowledge with commercial acumen to promote NCH’s portfolio ethically and compliantly, in line with UAE healthcare regulations and company standards.Through structured call planning, regular engagement, and market insights, the Medical Sales Representative contributes to sales growth, customer satisfaction, and the wider brand strategy. The position is key to strengthening NCH’s presence in the healthcare community and to living our culture of client-centricity, integrity, collaboration, and trust.Responsibilities:Territory Management and Sales PlanningDevelop and execute a territory business plan aligned with brand objectives and sales targets.Prepare structured call plans to ensure effective coverage, frequency, and prioritization of healthcare professionals.Record and update all field activities in the CRM, ensuring data accuracy and timely submission of reports.Monitor sales performance and territory KPIs, recommending corrective actions when required.Customer Engagement and Scientific PromotionPromote NCH’s healthcare and nutraceutical portfolio ethically and in compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.Deliver scientific product information through structured detailing visits, presentations, and sampling activities.Support awareness initiatives and therapeutic education programmes to strengthen professional relationships.Ensure all promotional activities meet MOHAP, DHA, and internal compliance requirements.Relationship Management and Partnership BuildingBuild and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, and key opinion leaders.Act as the company’s ambassador, ensuring professional representation and consistent engagement.Identify opportunities for cross-selling and portfolio expansion within assigned accounts.Gather customer insights and feedback to inform marketing, medical, and commercial strategies.Market Intelligence and Business InsightsTrack competitor activity, market trends, and prescribing patterns to identify emerging opportunities and risks.Provide timely and actionable field insights to the Brand Manager and cross-functional teams.Contribute to forecasting discussions and market analysis to support decision-making.Events, Training, and Professional EducationRepresent NCH at scientific congresses, exhibitions, and professional events.Support the organisation and execution of round tables, workshops, and other educational activities.Participate in continuous learning programmes to enhance scientific knowledge, communication skills, and commercial performance.Cross-Functional Collaboration and ComplianceCollaborate closely with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams to ensure consistency and alignment of messages.Adhere to all company SOPs, reporting standards, and ethical guidelines in daily operations.Champion NCH’s values of Client-Centricity, Integrity, Collaboration, Trust, and Simplicity in every interaction.Qualifications:Education & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or a related scientific discipline; a postgraduate qualification in Business or Life Sciences is an advantage.2 to 5 years of experience as a Medical Sales Representative within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or healthcare sector in the GCC.Proven record of achieving sales and activity targets while maintaining compliance and ethical standards.Demonstrated experience in managing territory coverage, customer engagement, and professional networking.Valid UAE driving license and willingness to travel within assigned regions.Technical & Functional SkillsStrong scientific understanding of therapeutic areas relevant to NCH’s product portfolio.Proficiency in CRM systems for call planning, pipeline tracking, and reporting.Ability to analyse sales data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.Skilled in delivering persuasive scientific presentations, both face-to-face and digitally.Knowledge of UAE healthcare regulations, MOHAP guidelines, and compliance frameworks.Competence in planning and executing customer engagement activities, sampling, and events.Soft Skills & CompetenciesClient-Centric & Empathy-Led: Builds trusted relationships through active listening, responsiveness, and genuine care for customer needs.Result-Driven & Integrity-Focused: Demonstrates accountability, resilience, and commitment to achieving results without compromising ethics.Collaborate with Agility & Teamwork: Works effectively across departments and adapts quickly to evolving business priorities.Trust & Partnership: Acts with honesty, reliability, and transparency, strengthening long-term partnerships with healthcare professionals.Simplicity & Practicality: Communicates clearly, solves problems pragmatically, and focuses on actions that deliver measurable value.
