We are seeking an experienced Medical Scheduler to join our high-volume Orthopedic Call Center. The ideal candidate will have prior experience scheduling patients for an orthopedic practice, exceptional customer service skills, and hands-on experience using ModMed (Modernizing Medicine) EMR.This position serves as the first point of contact for patients and requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment while delivering an outstanding patient experience. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and able to efficiently manage a high volume of inbound calls with professionalism and accuracy.Key ResponsibilitiesAnswer a high volume of inbound calls from new and existing patients.Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments for orthopedic providers.Utilize ModMed (Modernizing Medicine) EMR to accurately manage provider schedules and patient appointments.Match patients with the appropriate provider based on injury, diagnosis, and provider specialty.Verify patient demographics and update medical records.Register new patients and ensure all required information is collected.Coordinate referrals and ensure all required documentation is received prior to appointments.Verify insurance eligibility and communicate any referral or authorization requirements to patients.Educate patients on appointment preparation, required documentation, imaging, and arrival times.Manage appointment waitlists and assist with provider schedule optimization.Route clinical calls and messages to the appropriate department when necessary.Maintain accurate documentation of all patient interactions within ModMed.Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining professionalism and empathy with every patient interaction.Meet daily productivity, quality, and service level expectations.QualificationsMinimum 2 years of medical scheduling experience in a physician practice or healthcare call center.At least 1 year of orthopedic scheduling experience is required.Hands-on experience using ModMed (Modernizing Medicine) EMR is required.Experience working in a high-volume inbound call center environment.Strong knowledge of orthopedic provider scheduling workflows.Familiarity with insurance verification, referrals, and prior authorization requirements.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate multiple applications simultaneously.Ability to multitask while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.Experience scheduling orthopedic subspecialties such as sports medicine, joint replacement, spine, hand, foot & ankle, or trauma.Experience with podiatry or pain management scheduling.Knowledge of orthopedic terminology and common musculoskeletal diagnoses.Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.Amenable to work during US hoursMust be willing to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process.PerksPermanent Work From HomeLeave CreditsMonetary AllowanceAnnual BonusWeekly PaychecksFixed Weekends OffThriving Company Culture with Complete AutonomyExclusive Specialized Training ProgramsUnlock Your Potential with a Highly Competitive Salary____________________________________________________________________Who are we?BizForce is one of the fastest-growing global outsourcing companies in the world, founded in the US in Tucson, Arizona and is now operational in PH!Our Commitment to delivering high-quality results for our clients and the only way to do that is ensuring a rewarding, respectful and productive experience for our employees.
