Medical Tender Engineer

Job SummaryThe Tender Engineer/Specialist is responsible for identifying, managing, and preparing technical and commercial tender submissions across the Middle East and African (MEA) markets. This role bridges the gap between client requirements and the company's product portfolio, specifically focused on medical diagnostic imaging equipment (such as X-Ray, Mammography, and Computed Radiography). The ideal candidate combines strong administrative oversight with deep technical acumen to configure optimal product solutions and win competitive bids.Key Responsibilities1. Tender & Opportunity ManagementMonitoring & Identification: Proactively identify and monitor tender opportunities across government, public sector, and private portal platforms in the MEA region.Tracking & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of submitted tenders, bid outcomes, contract documents, and historical pricing.Client Follow-up & Clarification: Act as the primary point of contact for client clarifications, submission updates, and post-tender follow-ups.Performance Reporting: Monitor overall tender hit-rates/performance and prepare comprehensive reports for senior management.2. Technical Evaluation & Product ConfigurationSpecification Analysis: Read, interpret, and extract key technical specifications from complex RFP/tender documents issued in Middle Eastern and African markets.Solution Mapping: Map customer and tender technical requirements to the best possible product configuration within the company’s portfolio (e.g., General X-Ray, Mobile X-Ray, Mammography, Computed Radiography).Portfolio & Item Code Mastery: Master the company’s product portfolio, internal item codes, and part descriptions to build precise, custom-tailored equipment packages.Continuous Product Learning: Rapidly study and absorb specifications for newly launched products to effectively integrate them into upcoming tender submissions.3. Proposal Preparation & Cross-Functional CoordinationProposal Development: Prepare thorough commercial and technical proposals, official quotations, and supporting bid documentation.Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure 100% compliance of all bid submissions with client guidelines, legal requirements, and internal company quality standards.Internal Coordination: Work closely with cross-functional teams—including Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Technical/Service—to gather necessary pricing, logistical, and technical data.4. Vendor & Portal AdministrationManage vendor registrations, pre-qualification submissions, and ongoing company profile updates across various procurement portals.Qualifications & RequirementsEducation & CertificationMandatory: Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering Diagnostic Imaging Expertise: Demonstrated ability to read, comprehend, and translate complex technical specifications for medical imaging modalities, specifically General X-Ray, Mobile X-Ray, Mammography, and Computed Radiography (CR).MEA Market Experience: Proven track record of evaluating and submitting public and private tenders within Middle East and African healthcare markets.Proposal & Quotation Mastery: Hands-on experience drafting technical/commercial proposals, managing bid compliance, and working with complex product codes/SKUs.Soft Skills & CompetenciesCross-Functional Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills to interface smoothly with Sales, Technical, Procurement, and Finance teams.Analytical Precision: High attention to detail when cross-referencing tender specs against product catalogs.Adaptability & Learning Agility: Proven capacity to quickly learn new product portfolios, item code structures, and technical features.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Arabic or French is a strong advantage for the MEA region).FujifFilm - Who we areFujifilm is a globally renowned innovator in imaging, healthcare, and information solutions.
