Apply & track with Apply EdgeWe are looking for an experienced Medications Process Specialist to join our Corporate Health Applications team. This role is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and enhancing Oracle Health (Cerner) medication management applications with a primary focus on PharmNet, PowerOrders, PowerPlans, Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM), and Retail PharmNet.The successful candidate will act as the functional Subject Matter Expert (SME) for medication management workflows, ensuring system performance, supporting clinical operations, driving process improvements, and participating in AI and automation initiatives across pharmacy services.This position requires strong pharmacy informatics knowledge combined with healthcare IT experience and the ability to collaborate with clinicians, pharmacists, vendors, and technical teams.Key ResponsibilitiesServe as the functional SME for Oracle Health (Cerner) medication management applications.Support and maintain PharmNet, PowerOrders, PowerPlans, PBM, and Retail PharmNet applications.Resolve application incidents and troubleshoot medication workflow issues.Coordinate system upgrades, enhancements, testing, and production deployments.Support medication safety initiatives through workflow optimization and system improvements.Analyze and optimize pharmacy and medication management workflows.Participate in healthcare application implementation and digital transformation projects.Support AI-enabled pharmacy initiatives and process automation within medication management workflows.Develop and execute test plans, perform UAT, and validate system changes.Deliver end-user training and create supporting documentation.Collaborate with pharmacists, clinicians, vendors, and IT teams to deliver system improvements.Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinical standards, and reporting requirements.Participate in enterprise pharmacy informatics and medication management initiatives.RequirementsEducationBachelor's Degree in Pharmacy, Health Informatics, Computer Science, or a related discipline.Master's Degree is preferred.ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in Healthcare IT or Pharmacy Informatics.Hands-on experience supporting Oracle Health (Cerner) medication applications.Experience with one or more of the following:PharmNetPBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management)Retail PharmNetPowerOrdersPowerPlansExperience supporting clinical application implementations and upgrades.Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication management workflows.Experience in workflow analysis, testing, user support, and stakeholder management.Experience participating in healthcare digital transformation initiatives is highly desirable.Exposure to AI-enabled healthcare solutions or workflow automation is considered an advantage.Preferred CertificationsHealth Informatics CertificationPharmacy Informatics CertificationITIL FoundationPMPCPHIMS
