MEL Officer

Role Description:Supports monitoring, reporting, evaluation, and learning function. Supports evidence-based decision-making by maintaining indicators, data systems, and reporting processes that strengthen program effectiveness and accountability.Core ResponsibilitiesSupport the implementation of the project results framework in line with the strategy.Support Senior MEL Manager to embed MEL requirements in program design and reporting.Assist in performance monitoring, data collection, and evidence collation.Support the coordination and logistics of evaluations and external learning studies.Maintain dashboards and data summaries for internal use.Contribute to transparent reporting and documentation of results.Support learning activities and help disseminate lessons across programs.Support alignment of reporting cycles, requirements, and data flows.Liaise with internal and external partners on reporting requirements and data submissions in support of the MEL agenda.Profile and Experience1-3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation in global health or development, or equivalent knowledge and experience.Strong administrative and team working skills.Working knowledge of qualitative and quantitative methods.Experience supporting M&E activities with implementing partners, research institutions, or multilaterals.Ability to collate and present data clearly to support evidence-based recommendations.Good communication and reporting skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
