The credit union operates under federal insurance by the NCUA and serves as an Equal Housing Lender, reflecting its commitment to responsible and inclusive lending.Role Description The Member Relationship Officer is a full-time, on-site role based in Granby, CO. This position focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with members, providing personalized financial guidance, and promoting products and services that support members’ goals. Daily responsibilities include conducting in-person consultations, opening and servicing accounts, processing transactions, and assisting members with lending and deposit solutions. The role also involves identifying opportunities for cross-selling appropriate financial products, resolving member inquiries efficiently, and ensuring an excellent service experience at every interaction. The Member Relationship Officer collaborates closely with branch team members to meet individual and branch performance objectives while upholding Blue’s service standards and regulatory requirements.Qualifications Business Relationship Management skills to develop, grow, and maintain strong member relationships and understand member needs.Finance knowledge to explain credit union products, basic lending concepts, savings and investment options, and everyday banking services.Communication skills to clearly convey information, actively listen to members, and interact effectively with diverse individuals and teams.Customer Service skills to deliver friendly, timely, and solution-focused support and create positive member experiences.Sales skills to identify member needs, recommend appropriate products, and meet referral or sales goals in a consultative manner.Additional qualifications such as prior experience in banking or financial services, familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements, and proficiency with computer systems and CRM tools.High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.Ability to work on-site full time in Granby, CO, demonstrate integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to Blue’s member-focused values.
