This position is responsible for assisting members with everyday financial transactions, answering questions about accounts and services, and providing guidance on credit union products. Daily activities include handling phone and in-person inquiries, processing deposits and withdrawals, resolving issues efficiently, and maintaining accurate records in the core banking system. The role also involves promoting appropriate financial solutions, educating members on digital services, and ensuring a welcoming, professional experience for every member interaction. Member Service Representatives collaborate with team members to meet service goals and uphold compliance and security standards.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Service skills, with a focus on member satisfaction and problem resolution.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication.Candidates should possess professional Phone Etiquette skills for handling inbound and outbound member calls.Candidates should possess solid Computer Literacy skills, including ability to learn and use banking software and digital tools.Candidates should possess basic Finance knowledge, including understanding of accounts, loans, and financial products.Additional beneficial qualifications include prior experience in banking or credit unions, cash-handling accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced, member-facing environment.A high school diploma or equivalent is required; further education in business, finance, or a related field is preferred.Dependability, ethical conduct, teamwork, and a commitment to continuous learning are essential.
