Team members join a mission-driven organization that prioritizes service over profit and encourages strong community engagement.Role Description The Member Service Representative is a full-time, on-site role based in Elkhorn, WI. This position is responsible for assisting members with everyday banking needs, including opening and maintaining accounts, processing deposits and withdrawals, and answering questions about credit union products and services. The role includes handling member inquiries in person and by phone, resolving issues promptly, and providing accurate information on loans, savings, and digital banking tools. The Member Service Representative will promote appropriate credit union offerings, ensure transactions are performed in compliance with policies and regulations, and maintain a professional, welcoming environment. Daily responsibilities also involve maintaining accurate records, balancing cash drawers, and collaborating with colleagues to support member satisfaction and branch goals.QualificationsStrong member service orientation, with the ability to listen, understand needs, and provide clear, helpful guidance.Effective communication skills, including professional verbal and written interactions and confident phone etiquette.Previous financial services knowledge and comfort working with accounts, transactions, and banking products; prior credit union or banking experience is required.Attention to detail, accurate cash-handling skills, and the ability to follow established policies and procedures.Proficiency with computers and point-of-sale or banking systems; ability to learn new software and digital tools quickly.Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to handle sensitive member situations discreetly.Ability to work on-site full time in Elkhorn, WI, including collaborating in a team environment and adapting to changing member needs.High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or experience in finance, business, or customer service is required.
