Candidates joining Caritas Singapore will be part of a values-driven team focused on meaningful impact in society.Role DescriptionEngage with Member Organisations (“MO”) within the Caritas family to enhance understanding and deepen relationship. Provide time and space for dialogue, build stronger ties and facilitate collaboration, opportunities with MOs on key work areas. Work with Formation department to identify, develop and provide formation programmes for the leadership and staff of MOs, especially in Catholic Social Teaching (“CST”). Support MOs/parishes through conducting casework which includes assessing and linking clients to reliable social support system. Conduct training programmes in parishes/MOs to equip volunteers with the relevant skills to perform intake and referral, and case management. Provide evaluation support to measure programme outcomes. Support related projects/programmes as and when necessary. Provide secretarial support to the Membership Committee. Any other duties as and when assigned Qualifications Requirements: At least a Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Social Work, Business or Communicatio Studies) with these qualities : Strategic thinking with hands-on experience planning and executing programmes and events Have strong writing skills and an eye for attention to detail. 5 - 8 years of experience in the social sector as an employee would be beneficial. Experience in community development and community building would be advantageous.
