Since late 2018, Omnix International has been fully owned by Al-Imtiaz Group, a publicly listed company on the Kuwait Stock Exchange.We provide solutions and services across digital infrastructure, digital innovation, computer-aided engineering, Autodesk training, BIM consultancy, application modernization, audiovisual infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud computing, outsourcing, and managed services.Today, Omnix International employs more than 1,500 professionals, with offices across Dubai (HQ), Abu Dhabi, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Oman.About the RoleOmnix International is hiring an experienced Mendix Mobile Developer for a high-priority government project in Dubai, UAE.The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering mobile solutions on the Mendix platform while working closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and Arabic-speaking client representatives.This is an onsite role in Dubai for a 5-month engagement. Qualified candidates currently based outside the UAE are welcome to apply, provided they meet the mandatory Arabic-language and technical requirements and are willing to relocate to Dubai for the engagement.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, test, and deploy mobile applications using the Mendix platform.Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, mobile-first Mendix solutions.Develop custom widgets, offline-first workflows, and mobile-specific functionality.Integrate Mendix applications with REST APIs and backend systems.Implement native device integrations where required.Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA engineers, web developers, and other project stakeholders throughout the delivery lifecycle.Participate in requirements gathering and technical discussions with Arabic-speaking client stakeholders.Support UAT, application deployment, production releases, and post-launch issue resolution.Ensure solutions follow mobile UX, performance, security, and maintainability best practices.Mandatory Requirements3+ years of hands-on Mendix development experience.Demonstrated experience delivering mobile applications using Mendix.Strong understanding of mobile UX patterns, offline synchronization, and native device integrations.Experience with REST APIs and backend integrations.Professional fluency in Arabic – spoken and written.Professional proficiency in English – spoken and written.Ability to conduct requirements discussions, technical conversations, demonstrations, and project updates professionally in Arabic.Willing and able to work onsite in Dubai, UAE for the 5-month engagement.Preferred QualificationsMendix certification.Previous government or public-sector project experience.Experience delivering enterprise-scale Mendix applications.Immediate or short-notice availability.Location & RelocationThis position is based onsite in Dubai, UAE.Qualified candidates currently based outside the UAE are welcome to apply and must be willing and able to relocate to Dubai for the duration of the engagement.Please note: Arabic proficiency is a mandatory business requirement for this position due to direct and regular interaction with Arabic-speaking client stakeholders.
