We strongly encourage diversity, equity and inclusion in our workplace.We are seeking an experienced and compassionate therapist to join our team full-time in the Ann Arbor/Saline area and support the emotional, and mental well-being of all our clients. Ours is a diverse practice with LPC's, LMSW's and LLP's on staff who together provide significant mentorship and direct supervision as needed. In this role, you will work directly with clients to actively listen to problems and concerns and suggest healthy and productive ways of coping with those issues.Key activities and responsibilities:· Conduct regular appointments with clients who wish to converse with a mental health professional· Establish positive and trusting relationships with clients· Implement or initiate various treatments and protocols to provide guidance and appropriately address client situations· Record and maintain documentation of client visits, as required by third-party payors· When appropriate refer clients to internal agency or outside resources that can better address their specific needs· Maintain the strictest confidentiality of each and every client situation· Educate and involve family members, significant others, and key systemic players in the treatment process when neededDesired qualifications:· Minimum of a Master’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.· LMSW, LPC, and LLP's strongly preferred. Post-doctoral psychologists will be considered as well as LLP’s, LLPC’s and LLMSW’s who are close to meeting necessary state licensure requirements.· Strong interest and/or experience working with children, teens, and/or couples. EMDR, IFS, or Gottman Training a strong plus.· 2+ years of clinical experience, working directly with clients· Excellent interpersonal communication skills with the ability to actively listen· Solid relationship-building capabilities· A positive and compassionate attitude· Willingness to stay updated on new research, treatments, protocols, and licensure requirements within the field· Passion for advancing the therapy field· Ability to work independently and as part of a team-Able to travel consistently to Ann Arbor and SalineWork hours and benefits:· You will be part of a diverse team of professionals providing direct services to clients who come through the practice (including psychologists and psychiatric nurse practitioners).· W-2 position (commission based), competitive reimbursement, Group health insurance, vision & dental, 401K, and other benefits.· Flexible work hours with attractive office space provided.· Administrative and billing support provided in house.· Individual and Group Supervision provided.Think This is the Right Opportunity for You?If interested we’d love to hear from you.
