You will join a dynamic, collaborative team where you can make a tangible difference in your community every single day.Compensation & BenefitsSalary: $74,000 – $85,000 per year, depending on experience.Generous Time Off: 15 days of vacation per year to start (increases with tenure), 3 personal leave days, 6 sick leave days, and 7 paid holidays.Continuing Education: Annual CEU stipend plus 3 paid days off for continuing education.Professional Fee Coverage: Full reimbursement of Texas professional licensing fees and annual professional organization membership dues once established.Student Loan Assistance: Direct access to external federal and state loan forgiveness programs (HRSA/NHSC).Health & Financial Security: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-/long-term disability, and a 403(b) retirement savings plan.Why Consider This Role?Student Loan Repayment: Work in an FQHC environment eligible for federal and state student loan repayment programs (HRSA/NHSC).World-Class Support: Dedicated guidance and support while you build your caseload.Integrated Care Model: Thrive in a supportive group practice setting where you collaborate with integrated medical care teams and community partners while maintaining independent clinical judgment.Broad Central Texas Reach: Choose from openings across vibrant communities including Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Georgetown, Pflugerville, Bastrop, Taylor, Killeen, Hutto, Harker Heights, and Jonestown.Flexible Care Delivery: Provide meaningful care through a balanced mix of in-person outpatient appointments and virtual telemedicine visits.Key ResponsibilitiesPatient-Centered Therapy: Provide individual therapy to patients ages 5 and up, tailoring treatment plans to support general mental health and/or substance use recovery goals and psychosocial needs.Diagnostic Assessment: Utilize the DSM-5-TR, comprehensive initial interviews, and clinical screenings to diagnose co-occurring conditions, mental health disorders, and substance use disorders to construct effective care plans.Collaborative Support: Assess patient strengths, barriers, and safety needs; interact with community partners, addiction recovery resources, and emergency services when higher levels of care are required.Modern Practice: Efficiently document clinical notes and conduct telehealth sessions using robust Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.Qualifications & RequirementsLicensure: Active, unrestricted license in the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).Clinical Specialization: General outpatient mental health therapy experience required; experience or interest working with patients experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring conditions is a strong plus.Scope of Practice: Comfort and willingness to work with clients across the lifespan (ages 5 and up).Clinical Skills: Proficient in diagnostic assessment (DSM-5-TR), general and substance use treatment planning, crisis safety evaluation, and evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, MI).Mission-Driven Mindset: A genuine passion for providing accessible, high-quality mental healthcare to underserved populations.Adaptability & Tech Proficiency: Comfortable working independently within a fast-paced team, leveraging EHR tools, and conducting virtual care/meetings.How to ApplyReady to build a rewarding clinical practice and improve lives across Central Texas?Please submit your resume to: steve@reliatus.com or apply directly on this job posting page.Reliatus Behavioral Health and its client partners are Equal Opportunity Employers.
