MEP Coordinator

About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to oversee and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems across high-profile construction projects in Dubai. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless integration of MEP services with architectural and structural elements while maintaining compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.This role requires strong technical expertise, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee and coordinate all MEP systems throughout project lifecycle, from design to handover.Ensure MEP services are integrated effectively with architectural and structural plans.Manage and resolve technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installations.Ensure compliance with project specifications, local regulations, and DEWA standards.Collaborate with design teams, contractors, subcontractors, and clients to ensure timely project delivery.Review MEP designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and constructability.Monitor site progress, quality control, and safety standards related to MEP works.Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and progress updates.Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP coordination, with a main contractor in the UAE (preference for Dubai-based project experience).In-depth knowledge of DEWA regulations and local authority approval processes.Strong expertise in MEP systems coordination, installation, and commissioning.Familiarity with plumbing, building services, and MEP design standards.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Project is advantageous.
