MEP Draftsman Coordinator

We are looking for an MEP Draftsman Coordinator to support MEP project execution, drawing coordination, documentation, and site activities. The ideal candidate should have strong AutoCAD skills, good knowledge of MEP systems, be capable of reading and interpreting MEP drawings and experience coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.Position: MEP Draftsman Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

Prepare, review, and modify MEP shop, coordination, construction, and as-built drawings using AutoCAD.Coordinate MEP drawings with architectural, structural, and civil drawings to identify clashes and resolve coordination issues.Support the MEP Project Manager with project planning, progress tracking, and site coordination.Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site engineers on technical and project requirements.Prepare and follow up on shop drawings, material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and approvals.Maintain drawing registers, project records, revisions, and technical documentation.Monitor site progress and coordinate drawing updates based on actual site conditions and approved changes.Assist with material coordination, procurement follow up, testing, commissioning, and handover documentation.Prepare meeting minutes and follow up on technical and coordination action items.Support BIM/Revit coordination activities where required.

Requirements

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP, Building Services, Drafting, or a related field.Relevant UAE/GCC construction experience in MEP drafting and project coordination.Experience as an MEP Draftsman, MEP Coordinator, or MEP Technical Coordinator.Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction drawings.Proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory.Knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM coordination is an advantage.Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and site teams.Strong documentation, communication, and project coordination skills.
