Whizz HR is Hiring | Senior MEP Engineer | DubaiJob Title: Senior MEP EngineerJob Type: Full-Time | On-siteLocation: Dubai, UAEJob SummaryWhizz HR is looking for an experienced Senior MEP Engineer with strong MEP contracting and site execution experience. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of handling MEP works for construction projects, coordinating with consultants, subcontractors, and project teams, and ensuring successful project execution within quality, cost, and schedule requirements.Candidates with Infrastructure, Consulting, or Facility Management experience will not be considered.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and supervise MEP works across construction projects from installation through commissioning and handover.Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and plumbing activities with project teams, subcontractors, consultants, and clients.Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, BOQs, specifications, material submittals, and technical documents.Supervise site installation and ensure works are executed according to approved drawings and project specifications.Monitor project progress, manpower, materials, and subcontractor activities.Conduct regular site inspections and ensure quality standards are maintained.Coordinate with other disciplines to identify and resolve MEP-related site issues.Manage testing, commissioning, snagging, and handover of MEP systems.Ensure compliance with UAE standards, project requirements, and HSE regulations.Prepare progress reports, inspection documentation, and project-related technical reports.Troubleshoot technical issues and provide effective engineering solutions.Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections, approvals, and technical clarifications.Ensure MEP works are completed within the approved project schedule and budget.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.5–8 years of MEP contracting experience.Strong experience in MEP contracting, site execution, and project delivery is mandatory.Experience in building/construction projects is preferred.Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and other MEP systems.Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is an advantage.Good understanding of UAE construction standards, codes, and HSE requirements.Strong leadership, coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.Important Experience Requirement✅ 5–8 years of MEP Contracting Experience✅ Strong Site Execution & Construction Experience✅ Experience handling subcontractors and project teams❌ Infrastructure experience will not be considered❌ Consulting experience will not be considered❌ Facility Management experience will not be considered📩 Interested candidates can share their CV at:hello@whizzhr.com
