We value engineering excellence, innovation, collaboration, and the effective use of digital technologies to improve project delivery and operational performance.The RoleWe are seeking an experienced MEP Engineering Trainer / BIM Specialist to deliver practical online training in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, building information modeling (BIM), and digital construction workflows. In this part-time, fully remote role, you will help learners develop technical skills, understand multidisciplinary coordination, and apply industry-relevant tools and methods to real-world building projects.The ideal candidate combines hands-on MEP or BIM experience with strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex engineering concepts through structured, engaging instruction.Key ResponsibilitiesDeliver online training on MEP design principles, building services coordination, and BIM workflows.Demonstrate relevant software tools, such as Autodesk Revit MEP and Navisworks, where applicable.Explain BIM modeling, clash detection, model coordination, and construction documentation processes.Guide learners in interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, schedules, and coordinated models.Develop training materials, practical exercises, project examples, and skills assessments.Provide constructive feedback and help learners address technical knowledge gaps.Explain coordination between architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines.Keep training content aligned with relevant industry practices, project standards, and digital construction developments.RequirementsA bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in MEP engineering, BIM coordination, design, or technical training is preferred.Practical knowledge of BIM processes and multidisciplinary building services coordination.Experience with Revit MEP, Navisworks, or comparable industry software is an advantage.Understanding of engineering drawings, construction documentation, model coordination, and clash resolution.Previous experience delivering technical training, mentoring, or professional workshops is desirable.Strong analytical, presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to deliver effective virtual training and manage responsibilities independently.What We OfferFlexible, part-time remote work.The opportunity to share technical expertise with aspiring and experienced professionals.A collaborative environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning.Opportunities to develop practical training resources and support professional growth.The flexibility to combine industry experience with technical education.
