AUGMENTED VISIONS AFRICA is guided by values of teamwork, respect, integrity, and a strong commitment to quality deliverables for clients and stakeholders.Role Description The MEP Team Leader BIM Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Cairo, with flexibility for part-time work from home. This role leads the MEP BIM team in producing coordinated, clash-free models and drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems across various building types. Responsibilities include planning and assigning BIM tasks, reviewing and approving models and shop drawings, and ensuring compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements. The role involves close collaboration with architects, structural and MEP engineers, contractors, and BIM managers to maintain model integrity and efficient workflows. The MEP Team Leader BIM Engineer also supports the development of BIM standards, mentors team members, and contributes to continuous improvement of processes and tools.Qualifications Strong MEP engineering background with experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems design and coordination.Advanced BIM skills, including proficiency in tools such as Revit, Navisworks, and other relevant modeling and coordination software.Experience leading or supervising BIM/MEP teams, with the ability to manage workloads, review deliverables, and uphold quality standards.Knowledge of building codes, standards, and best practices applicable to residential, administrative, medical, military, and educational projects.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborating with on-site and remote stakeholders in Egypt and the wider region.Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or a related discipline; relevant BIM/MEP certifications are an advantage.Experience in BIM consultancy, engineering management, or technical support for owners, consultants, and contractors is highly beneficial.
