WE ARE HIRING | MEP Utilities Mechanical Engineer – Irrigation & Water PipelinesWe are looking for an experienced MEP Utilities Mechanical Engineer with strong expertise in irrigation and water pipeline infrastructure projects to join our team in Saudi Arabia. Key Requirements10–12 years of overall experience, including at least 8 years in utility infrastructure projects.Minimum 3 successfully completed potable water network projects.Minimum 3 successfully completed irrigation network projects.Strong GCC experience, with KSA experience preferred.Proven experience with HDPE and DI (Ductile Iron) pipelines.Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and handover of water networks.Key ResponsibilitiesConstruction ManagementManage potable water and irrigation construction activities.Ensure works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.Ensure compliance with HSE, quality, and environmental requirements.Planning & ProgressPrepare short-term and look-ahead programmes.Monitor daily and weekly productivity and progress.Identify, manage, and mitigate potential delays.Coordinate interfaces with roadworks, utilities, and temporary works.Technical ManagementSupervise water and irrigation pipeline installation activities.Ensure proper trenching, bedding, pipe laying, and backfilling.Monitor HDPE fusion welding activities.Manage valve chamber construction.Coordinate testing and commissioning activities.Quality, Testing & CommissioningEnsure all required inspections are completed.Manage WIRs, inspection records, and quality documentation.Oversee pipeline pressure testing.Supervise flushing and chlorination of potable water systems.Ensure compliance with project specifications and relevant authority requirements.Ideal CandidateA hands-on utilities professional with proven site experience in water and irrigation networks, strong construction management capabilities, and a solid understanding of GCC/KSA utility standards and authority requirements.
