Merchandiser

What You’ll do:Planning and developing merchandising strategies.Analyzing sales figures, market trends and customer behavior to determine product needs.Stocking sales floor shelves and creating attractive product displays.Ensuring retail staff are well informed on product details and promotions.Maintaining and tracking inventory.Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors, and analysts to negotiate prices, quantities, and timescalesMaximize customer interest and sales levels by displaying products appropriatelyProduce layout plans for stores and maintain store shelves and inventoryForecast profits/sales and plan budgetsMonitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clear outs etcBuild constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close dealsRemain up to date with industry’s best practicesWhat you will need:High school diploma required as Minimum Qualification.Previous experience in Modern Trade Merchandising preferred.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Commercial acumen and the ability to “decode” customers.Valid driver's license.You will love this job if have: Strong numerical and analytical skills.Good organizational and decision-making skills.Amazing customer service Skills.
