Indian Silk House Agencies is a heritage saree and ethnic-wear retail brand (est. 1971) with 70+ stores across India. We're building our merchandising team to lead New Product Development, collection curation, and in-store presentation across our network — with a strong focus on sarees and ethnic wear.What you'll own:New Product Development (NPD) — working with weaving clusters, designer tie-ups, and vendors to build fresh collections season on seasonCollection and range planning across price points and store formatsProduct content and storytelling that helps stores sell, not just stockVisual merchandising — display standards, in-store execution across formatsWorking with regional/store teams so merchandising plans land correctly on the floorWhat we're looking for:Background in Fashion/Textile Design or Fashion Merchandising; a design-institute education (NIFT or equivalent) is a strong plusExperience with saree, ethnic wear, or handloom textiles is preferredAn eye for visual merchandising and retail presentation0–5 years of experience preferred; candidates with 7+ years of deep saree/ethnic-wear category expertise also considered for senior rolesBased in or willing to relocate to Kolkata
