The Merchandiser will be responsible for planning and executing product displays, ensuring optimal stock levels, and maintaining visual merchandising standards in retail environments. This role includes tracking sales performance, analyzing customer preferences, coordinating with sales and marketing teams, and implementing promotional activities. The Merchandiser will regularly visit stores, monitor product placement and pricing, collect market feedback, and prepare reports to support business decisions. Collaboration with internal stakeholders and retail partners is essential to enhance product visibility and drive sales.Qualifications Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact effectively with store staff, customers, and internal teams.Experience in Sales and Retail operations to manage product placement, stock levels, and revenue-focused activities.Knowledge of Marketing principles to support promotions, visual merchandising, and brand positioning.Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer behavior to optimize merchandising strategies.Attention to detail and organizational skills for planning displays, managing inventory, and maintaining store standards.Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Excel, MS Word) for reporting and communication.Prior experience as a Merchandiser or in retail, FMCG, or related sectors is preferred.Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field is an advantage.
