Merchandising Assistant / Specialist

Role Description The Merchandising Assistant / Specialist is a part-time role based in Abu Dhabi with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site duties with some work-from-home flexibility. This role supports the merchandising team in executing product displays, maintaining planograms, and ensuring accurate pricing and promotional signage across the store. The Merchandising Assistant / Specialist helps monitor stock levels, coordinates with sales and customer service teams to ensure product availability, and compiles basic sales and inventory reports to support decision-making. Day-to-day responsibilities include checking product presentation for consistency with brand standards, assisting with seasonal or campaign-based merchandising changes, and communicating with internal stakeholders to align merchandising activities with sales goals.Qualifications Strong Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to collaborate with team members and support a positive shopper experience.Clear and professional Communication skills for coordinating with store, sales, and merchandising teams and documenting activities.Solid Analytical Skills to review sales and inventory data, identify trends, and suggest improvements in product placement and presentation.Basic Sales understanding to align merchandising efforts with sales targets and promotional strategies.Attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate displays, signage, and stock counts.Comfort with using spreadsheets or basic retail software to track merchandise and prepare simple reports.Ability to work on-site in Abu Dhabi with some flexibility for remote tasks, managing time and priorities independently.Prior experience in retail, merchandising, or a related field is preferred; a diploma or bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related discipline is an advantage.
