Merchandising & Category ManagementDevelop and execute strategies for imported product categories (food, beverages, FMCG, etc.) in line with GS25 brand positioning and Vietnamese consumer demand.Manage product assortment and lifecycle (listing, delisting, category refresh).Analyze sale-in / sale-out, inventory turnover, write-offs, and SKU performance.Take ownership of P&L, margin, and pricing strategy for imported categories.B. Import Purchasing & Supplier ManagementSource, evaluate, and manage overseas suppliers (Korea, Japan, Thailand, etc.).Negotiate purchase prices, MOQs, Incoterms, payment terms, rebates, and marketing support.Coordinate with logistics teams to monitor import plans, lead time, logistics costs, duties, and related fees.Ensure stable supply to support store operations nationwide.C. Export Business Development & ManagementDevelop and execute export strategies for GS25 private-label products and selected merchandise to international markets, aligning with the company's overall business objectives.Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with overseas distributors, trading partners, and key customers.Conduct market research to identify export opportunities, consumer trends, and potential markets for expansion.Negotiate export contracts, pricing, payment terms, and international trade agreements to maximize profitability and market competitiveness.Coordinate with internal stakeholders, logistics providers, and customs brokers to ensure smooth export operations, including documentation, customs clearance, and on-time delivery.Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese export regulations, international trade laws, and destination-country requirements.Monitor export sales performance, margins, and profitability, and recommend strategies to drive sustainable growth.Develop annual export sales plans, budgets, and forecasts.Prepare regular reports on export performance, market developments, and business opportunities for senior management and headquarters.Collaborate closely with Marketing and Product teams to customize product offerings, packaging, and promotional activities for export markets.D. Compliance & Cross-functional CoordinationWork closely with Legal and QA teams to:Ensure products comply with food safety regulations, import requirements, product registration, and labeling regulations.Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese laws governing imported goods and market circulation.Collaborate with Marketing on:New product launchesPromotions, sampling activities, and in-store campaigns for imported items.Coordinate with Operations to optimize in-store display and sales execution.D. Planning, Analysis & ReportingDevelop monthly, quarterly, and annual purchasing plans.Monitor and analyze:Revenue, profit, and inventory performanceEffectiveness of promotional activitiesPrepare regular reports for Head of Merchandising, Management, and HQ.II. REQUIREMENTSA. Education & ExperienceBachelor's degree or above in Economics, International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Commerce, Finance, or other related disciplines.Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in:Import-Export ManagementInternational PurchasingMerchandising or Category ManagementInternational Trade OperationsStrong preference for candidates with hands-on experience in import and export activities within the retail, FMCG, food, or convenience store industries.Proven track record in managing overseas suppliers, distributors, and international business partners.B. Knowledge & SkillsIn-depth understanding of:Import and export procedures, customs clearance, shipping documentation, and international logistics.International payment methods, trade finance, and Incoterms.Vietnamese import-export regulations, customs laws, and relevant international trade requirements.Food safety regulations, product registration, labeling, and market entry requirements for both imported and exported products.Strong analytical capabilities in:Sales performance analysis (sale-in / sale-out)Profitability, P&L, margin, and pricing managementInventory control, demand forecasting, and supply planningExport business performance and market analysisExcellent negotiation, supplier management, and international partner relationship management skills.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools is highly preferred.C. LanguageStrong English communication skills, both written and spoken, for effective interaction with overseas suppliers, customers, and business partners.Proficiency in Korean, Japanese, or another foreign language is a significant advantage.D.
