This role involves identifying and managing international buyers, coordinating with domestic suppliers, and overseeing the end-to-end export process, including documentation, logistics, and compliance with export regulations. The Merchant Exporter will negotiate prices and terms, prepare export quotations, and monitor order execution to ensure timely shipment and quality standards. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining records of shipments, managing communication with freight forwarders and customs agents, and resolving any operational issues. The role requires close collaboration with internal teams to support smooth trade operations and strengthen long-term business partnerships.Qualifications Strong knowledge of international trade practices, export documentation, Incoterms, and customs regulations.Experience in coordinating logistics, shipping, and supply chain activities for export orders.Ability to manage vendor and buyer relationships, including negotiation of pricing, contracts, and delivery terms.Proficiency in using MS Office tools and basic ERP or export management software for tracking orders and documentation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple export transactions simultaneously.Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, International Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; relevant export certification is a plus.Prior experience in merchant exporting or international trade, preferably in agricultural, manufacturing, or industrial products.Ability to work on-site in Thane and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
