Mergers and Acquisitions Manager

About the RoleWe are building an M&A team in Singapore to support regional and global transaction activities, with a focus on technology-related businesses. We are open to candidates across levels, from junior professionals to senior M&A leaders, depending on experience and fit.This role offers exposure to end-to-end M&A execution, cross-border transactions, and strategic projects across Asia and globally.Key Responsibilities(Responsibilities will be adjusted based on seniority)Support and/or lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including:Deal origination and target screeningFinancial and strategic analysisValuation and business case preparationDue diligence coordination (commercial, financial, legal, tax)Transaction structuring and negotiation supportConduct industry, market, and company research, particularly in technology-related sectorsPrepare investment materials, internal memos, and presentations for management and stakeholdersWork closely with internal teams and external advisors (banks, lawyers, consultants)Support post-merger integration planning where applicableParticipate in regional and international travel as required for deal executionRequirementsPrior experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or related fieldsHaving M&A experience in the digital energy sector would be a plus.Strong interest and understanding of technology-driven businesses (IT, software, digital services, platforms, etc.)Based in SingaporeEnglish fluency is mandatory (written and spoken)Chinese (Mandarin) is strongly preferred; additional languages are a plusComfortable working on cross-border and multi-jurisdiction transactionsWilling and able to travel regionally and globallyStrong analytical skills, commercial judgment, and attention to detailAbility to work independently as well as in team-based deal environmentsSeniority-Specific Expectations Junior levels (Analyst / Associate):Strong financial modeling and analytical capabilitiesTransaction support and execution focus Mid–Senior levels (Manager / Director):Experience leading workstreams or transactionsAbility to manage advisors and interact with senior stakeholdersStrategic thinking and deal structuring experience
