The Microbiologist will perform routine and specialized microbiological testing, sample preparation, and analysis following established methods and protocols. The role involves operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, documenting results accurately, and supporting quality control and quality assurance activities to meet regulatory and client requirements. The Microbiologist will collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues, interpret data, and contribute to continuous improvement of laboratory processes. The position also requires adherence to safety standards, good laboratory practices, and internal policies.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Microbiology knowledge and practical experience applying microbiological techniques and principles.Candidates should possess Laboratory Skills and be proficient in handling Laboratory Equipment safely and accurately.Candidates should possess Quality Control skills for performing checks, validating results, and ensuring test reliability.Candidates should possess Quality Assurance skills to support compliance with standards, procedures, and accreditation requirements.Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Biology, or a related scientific field; advanced qualifications are an advantage.Experience in a regulated laboratory environment, preferably in testing, inspection, or certification services.Strong attention to detail, data recording accuracy, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused, safety-conscious environment.
