The role involves performing routine and specialized microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to ensure safety and compliance with established standards. The Microbiologist will prepare and maintain cultures, operate and calibrate laboratory equipment, and accurately record and analyze test results. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with production and quality teams, implementing quality control and quality assurance procedures, and assisting in investigations when deviations or contamination issues arise. The role also includes maintaining laboratory documentation, supporting regulatory and customer audits, and contributing to continuous improvement of laboratory methods and workflows.Qualifications Strong foundation in Microbiology, including microbial identification, enumeration, and contamination control.Laboratory Skills and proficiency with Laboratory Equipment relevant to microbiological testing and analysis.Experience in Quality Control processes for raw materials, process samples, and finished products.Knowledge of Quality Assurance principles, documentation practices, and regulatory or industry standards.Bachelor’s degree or higher in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology, or a closely related field.Ability to follow standard operating procedures, maintain accurate records, and interpret scientific data.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a production-oriented environment.Good communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and support audits or inspections.
