Microbiologists – Bacteriology / AMRParis, France | Full-timeJunior & Senior opportunitiesI'm working with a growing European life sciences technology company that's building a new applied research team focused on some of the most pressing challenges in healthcare, beginning with antimicrobial resistance (AMR).The company has developed and commercialised an innovative microbial detection platform and is now investing in expanding the applications of its technology into healthcare research.As part of this expansion, they're building a multidisciplinary research team across microbiology, bioinformatics, data science and engineering, and are looking for microbiologists to join at junior and senior levels.We're particularly interested in people with:A strong, hands-on background in bacteriologyAMR experience would be highly relevant, but isn't essentialExperience working across different bacterial species and strainsExperience with different growth conditions, sample types or matricesExposure to different genetic profiles and/or bacterial stress conditionsAn interest in working within a fast-moving research environment where there's scope to help shape how things are builtThis is an opportunity to join a new research team at an early stage and work at the intersection of microbiology and emerging technology, with significant scope to contribute to how the research capability develops.
