Job DescriptionInfection Prevention Specialist (IPS)Department: Professional Education and Clinical Expertise through Consultation.Supervisor: Senior Manager, Education, ASP (India).

Company: Medi Transcare Pvt Ltd, Professional Service provider to ASP (Advanced Sterilization Products).This role provides clinical expertise on ASP’s products through consultation, education, and training.

Working with Account Executives, it delivers solutions to meet business goals, builds long-term customer relationships, and positions ASP as the partner of choice with tailored, value-driven solutions.Job Description The primary focus is to provide clinical expertise through consultation, education and training of ASP’s products to both internal and external customers.Key activity is to provide best-practice solutions to customers in partnership with the Account Executive in the execution of plans that meet or exceed the Company’s business objectives.Responsible for developing long-term customer relationships, which build loyalty and confidence in ASP as the preferred vendor.Responsible for establishing and maintaining relationships with strategic accounts while positioning and delivering economic and value-related solutions.Key Job ResponsibilitiesTo provide clinical expertise to customers on ASP products and processes through consultation, assessment and education.Follow up on clinical customer issues and provide information to the ASP team representing the voice of the customer.Functions as a clinical expert to ASP staff on new product development/ launches, market changes/ trends and the identification of customer driven needs and/or requests.Communicates business opportunities to the sales team in a timely manner.Plans and deliver educational programs and training to ASP employees.Plans and support develop clinical marketing content.Plans, develops and implements customer educational programs to meet current and future customer needs.Maintains and expands clinical/technical knowledge of all ASP products.Plans, prioritizes and manages a work schedule which meets customer expectations in a timely and cost-effective manner.Maintains active membership in professional organization(s) to continue professional growth and development.Know, understand and follow ASP policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility.Engages in ongoing assessment and evaluation of ASP products in the market, work collaboratively with Sales and Marketing to achieve business objectives.Key Skill/Knowledge RequirementsTraining of ASP & non-ASP customers on Product and Procedure. Design Infection Prevention Program for Healthcare Professionals in Indian hospitals aligned to HLD, LLD & TSDeliver sessions on Instrument Reprocessing, Environmental Disinfection, and Infection Prevention Support India Sales in any strategic education executionClinical expertise in surgical instrumentation including endoscopic instruments.Knowledge of sterilization and high-level disinfectionKnowledge of operating room, central processing and endoscopy suite practices, procedures and protocols.Knowledge of Perioperative nursing standards, infection control standards, and SPD guidelines for practice.Knowledge of ASP’s products and competitive products.Knowledge of market changes or trends in healthcare environments utilizing ASP’s products.Strong analytical skills and ability to think strategically Highly developed interpersonal/people skills. Ability to articulate and effective communication skills (written and verbal) at all levels.Demonstrated customer focus and strong relationship building skills.Strong team skills, both building and partnering.Strong presentation skills, both preparing and delivering.Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
