Apply & track with Apply EdgeThis role is ideal for recent graduates looking to build a career in Quality Control Microbiology.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine microbiological testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished productsConduct environmental monitoring of cleanrooms and manufacturing areasPrepare microbiological media, reagents, and laboratory samplesPerform microbial identification, bioburden, endotoxin, and sterility testingRecord and review laboratory data in accordance with GMP and Good Documentation Practices (GDP)Support Out-of-Specification (OOS), deviation, and CAPA investigationsMaintain laboratory equipment and ensure compliance with laboratory safety proceduresCollaborate with QA, QC, Manufacturing, and Validation teamsAssist with audit and regulatory inspection readinessRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, or a related field0–2 years of microbiology or laboratory experience (internships/co-ops accepted)Basic understanding of microbiological techniques and aseptic practicesKnowledge of GMP/cGMP, laboratory safety, and documentation practicesStrong analytical, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred SkillsExposure to environmental monitoring, sterility testing, bioburden, endotoxin testing, or microbial identificationFamiliarity with USP microbiology methods and pharmaceutical laboratory practicesInternship or academic laboratory experience in pharmaceutical or life sciences industriesExperience with laboratory documentation systems or LIMS is a plus
