Microbiologist, Laboratory & Environmental Monitoring

We are hiring a Microbiologist — Laboratory & Environmental Monitoring for our IQF plant at Sikandrabad, Bulandshahr.Frozen changes what the microbiology has to cover. A wet, chilled processing hall is a Listeria problem in a way that a dry warehouse is not, and an environmental monitoring programme built for one will not hold for the other. Extending ours properly over the IQF and frozen scope is the first thing this person will do.We are FSSC 22000 and FSSAI certified, so the programme has to stand up to an auditor as well as to the organism.What the role owns:- The in-house microbiology laboratory and its routine release testing- Pathogen testing — Listeria monocytogenes, Salmonella, E. coli, S. aureus — plus TPC, coliforms, yeast and mould- The environmental monitoring programme for the frozen plant. Zoning, contact and non-contact swabs, sampling frequency, trending, and the escalation that follows a positive- Water microbiology across the wash, blanch make-up and glaze lines- Personnel hygiene verification, food handler swabs, and pre-operational inspection- Media preparation, aseptic technique, waste disposal and laboratory GLP — all of it documented to scheme requirementsWhat we are looking for:- M.Sc in Microbiology, with 3–12 years in a food manufacturing laboratory- You have run pathogen testing yourself, on your own plates- You have worked inside a certified system and know what laboratory records an auditor will ask to see- You understand why zoning matters and can explain it to a production supervisor without losing themWhat will make you stand out:- A running environmental monitoring programme you designed or owned, with trending- Frozen or chilled processing, or an export plant working to buyer audit requirements- Laboratory set-up or expansion — equipment qualification, method validation, NABL disciplineCompensation as per experience.
