🧬 2 x Microbiology Technicians📍 Galway, Ireland🕒 12 Month Contract (full-time)🧠 Focus: Investigations, Documentation Review & Data Analysis🧪 Sterile Pharmaceuticals / Biologics🏢 Role ContextWe're seeking two experienced Microbiology Technicians to support a major sterile manufacturing microbiology team in Galway.These positions focus on investigations, documentation review, and microbiological data interpretation rather than routine testing activities, making them ideal for candidates looking to broaden their impact within a GMP environment.🎯 What You Will DoSupport microbiology investigations and deviation assessmentsReview microbiology documentation and GMP recordsInterpret microbiological data and assess product impactContribute to root cause investigations and CAPA activitiesSupport media fill activities and associated documentationParticipate in Gemba investigations and manufacturing support activitiesProvide microbiological expertise across environmental monitoring programmesSupport continuous improvement and project initiatives✅ What We're Looking ForDegree in Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related disciplineStrong pharmaceutical, biologics or biopharmaceutical microbiology experienceExperience working in sterile manufacturing environmentsKnowledge of microbiological investigations, deviations and CAPA processesStrong understanding of media fills and contamination control principlesExperience reviewing GMP documentation and laboratory recordsFamiliarity with MODA, LIMS or automated microbiology platforms would be advantageousStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
