Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob SummaryWe are seeking a motivated Microbiology Lab Technician to support microbiological testing and environmental monitoring activities within a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment. The position will work closely with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and other cross-functional teams to support laboratory operations and maintain compliance with applicable quality and safety requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform microbiological laboratory support activities in accordance with established procedures and SOPs.Conduct environmental monitoring and utility monitoring, including air, surface, and water sampling as applicable.Support microbiological testing, growth promotion testing, and other laboratory activities.Maintain laboratory areas in a clean, organized, and sanitized condition.Receive, inspect, quarantine, store, and maintain microbiological media and laboratory supplies.Monitor biohazardous waste and coordinate appropriate disposal in accordance with safety procedures.Support validation, qualification, development, and manufacturing activities through assigned laboratory tasks.Maintain accurate and timely laboratory documentation and records.Follow GMP, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.Collaborate with QC, Manufacturing, QA, and other site functions to support daily operations.Participate in special projects and other laboratory activities as assigned.Maintain flexibility to support changing priorities and operational needs.Basic QualificationsAssociate Degree with 1+ year of microbiology laboratory or environmental monitoring experience, ORHigh School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of microbiology laboratory or environmental monitoring experience.Preferred QualificationsExperience with environmental monitoring, including air, surface, and water sampling.Knowledge of aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations.Experience working in a GMP-regulated laboratory or manufacturing environment.Knowledge of microbiological testing and QC laboratory processes.Ability to follow SOPs and accurately document laboratory activities.
