🧬 2 x Senior Microbiology Specialists 📍 Galway, Ireland🕒 12 Month Contract (full-time)🧠 Focus: Investigations, Documentation Review & Data Analysis🧪 Sterile Pharmaceuticals / Biologics🏢 Role ContextWe're seeking two experienced microbiology professionals to support a major sterile manufacturing microbiology team in Galway.These roles focus on investigations, documentation review, and microbiological data interpretation rather than routine testing, making them ideal for candidates with 5+ years' experience looking to broaden their impact and ownership within a GMP environment.🎯 What You Will DoLead and support microbiology investigations and deviation assessmentsReview microbiology documentation and GMP recordsInterpret microbiological data and assess product impactOwn root cause investigations and drive CAPA activities to closureSupport media fill activities and associated documentationParticipate in Gemba investigations and manufacturing support activitiesProvide microbiological expertise across environmental monitoring programmesSupport continuous improvement and project initiatives✅ What We're Looking ForDegree in Microbiology, Pharmaceutical Sciences or related discipline5+ years' pharmaceutical, biologics or biopharmaceutical microbiology experienceExperience working in sterile manufacturing environmentsProven track record owning microbiological investigations, deviations and CAPA processes end-to-endStrong understanding of media fills and contamination control principlesExperience reviewing GMP documentation and laboratory recordsFamiliarity with MODA, LIMS or automated microbiology platforms would be advantageousStrong analytical and problem-solving skills
