Mid-Level C++ Software Engineer - RemoteYou’ll be working for an innovative ethical fintech start-up that’s looking for a Mid-Level C++ Software Engineer to join their growing engineering team. You’ll take ownership of new features and APIs and have plenty of autonomy to help build their product.You’ll work across modern C++, Python with some TypeScript, AWS and AI-assisted development, building and improving cloud-based applications and services.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain C++ services, including AWSBuild Python microservices and toolingDevelop React / TypeScript applicationsWork with AWS, Docker, CI/CD and Infrastructure as CodeSupport the deployment and scaling of AI / ML servicesWrite high-quality, tested and secure codeRequirementsStrong commercial C++ experienceProfessional experience with Python and ideally TypeScriptExperience with AWS/cloud platformsKnowledge of REST APIs, microservices and CMakeStrong Git, testing and Linux/CLI skillsExperience with Cursor and/or Claude CodeComfortable working remotely and independentlyDesirable: Open Banking, fintech/payments, React, OAuth2/OIDC or DynamoDB experience.What's on Offer?£50k - £65k base salaryFully remote UK roleFlexible working hours25 days holiday + public holidaysPension schemeHome office allowanceTeam meet-ups a few times a year
